An investment of up to £250,000 is required to cover all the startup costs as soon as possible.
This will be in a form of a loan with a minimum loan amount of £50,000 from high net worth individuals and sophisticated investors. Annual interest will be 15% with a higher rate of interest 18% for loans of £250,000 and above. Each loan will be secured by the way of a debenture from the holding company.
However, an investor who provides all of the additional seed capital of £250,000 may also be able to join one of the fund and enjoy preferential terms, subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant fund.
